DivSinnar Technologies ("we," "our," or "us") operates the TimeWindow: Live Wallpaper mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language and in full compliance with Google Play's 2026 Data Safety guidelines, how the App handles your information. By using the App, you agree to the terms described below.

Short version: TimeWindow is a privacy-first, locally processed application. The App never collects, transmits, or monetises any personal information. The Internet permission is used only to download publicly available wallpaper videos on explicit user request. No personal data accompanies those requests.

1 Data Collection

TimeWindow: Live Wallpaper does not collect any personal data of any kind. The following categories of data are explicitly not collected, stored, processed, or transmitted by this application:

Personal identifiers — name, email address, username, account credentials, phone number.
Device identifiers — IMEI, Android ID, MAC address, advertising ID (GAID), IDFA.
Location data — GPS coordinates, coarse network location, IP-derived location.
Usage analytics — screen views, session duration, tap heatmaps, feature interactions.
Crash & performance data — ANRs, stack traces, or diagnostic logs uploaded to remote servers.
Financial information — payment methods, transaction history, or purchase data.
Health or sensitive data — biometrics, health metrics, or any sensitive personal category.
User-generated content — photos or videos from the user's gallery are never transmitted.

The App contains no analytics SDK (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel), no crash-reporting SDK (e.g., Crashlytics, Sentry), and no advertising SDK (e.g., AdMob, Meta Audience Network). All processing occurs strictly on-device.

2 Network & Third-Party Services

The App declares the android.permission.INTERNET permission solely to support the optional in-app Marketplace feature. When a user explicitly taps "Download & Apply" on a wallpaper card, the App fetches a publicly hosted .mp4 video file from a Cloudinary Content Delivery Network (res.cloudinary.com).

What is sent to the CDN? Exclusively a standard HTTPS GET request for the publicly accessible media file URL. The request contains no user identifiers, no device tokens, and no cookies. It is functionally equivalent to a browser loading a public image.

No user account or authentication token is required or created.
No request headers containing personal device information are appended.
The App has no backend server of its own — no API endpoint, no database, and no cloud function operated by DivSinnar Technologies.
All other app features (time-mapped rendering, parallax engine, settings) operate entirely offline.

3 Local Storage & Media Privacy

Any wallpaper video file — whether downloaded from the Marketplace or imported from the user's own device — is saved exclusively to the App's private internal storage directory (context.filesDir). This directory is:

Isolated by the Android sandbox — no other application can read or write to it without explicit system-level privilege escalation.
Hidden from the Android media scanner — the App programmatically creates a .nomedia sentinel file in the storage directory, instructing the Android OS, Google Photos, and any third-party gallery app to exclude the directory from media indexing. Downloaded wallpapers will never appear in your personal photo library.
Automatically purged on uninstall — the Android OS automatically deletes all files in context.filesDir when the App is removed. No manual cleanup is required.
Never shared or uploaded — video files are not shared with other apps, uploaded to a cloud service, or backed up via this App.

User-imported videos: If a user selects a video file from their own device, only a working copy is placed inside the App's private storage for rendering. The original file in the user's gallery is never modified. The App does not read, index, or transmit any metadata from the user's media library.

4 Android Permissions

The App requests the minimum set of permissions required for core functionality. No sensitive runtime permissions (camera, microphone, contacts, location) are requested.

SET_WALLPAPER	Required by the Android OS to apply a `WallpaperService`-based live wallpaper to the home and lock screen. Operates entirely locally on-device.	None. No information about the device's current wallpaper, home screen layout, or lock screen is read or transmitted.
INTERNET	Used exclusively to perform HTTPS GET requests to download publicly hosted `.mp4` wallpaper files from Cloudinary CDN when a user explicitly initiates a download in the Marketplace screen.	No personal data. The request contains only the public file URL.

5 Children's Privacy

This App does not collect any information from any user, regardless of age. It is therefore fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR-K, and all equivalent global standards for children's data protection. No age-gating mechanism is required as no data collection of any kind occurs.

6 Changes to This Policy

DivSinnar Technologies reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality materially changes in a way that affects data handling. Any substantive updates will be:

Reflected on this page with an updated Effective Date.
Noted in the Google Play Store release notes for the corresponding app version.

Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
